You were confident and honest, and you never overpromised or underdelivered. You gave me space to process without enabling endless overthinking, and that balance was such a gift throughout the entire process.
Our wedding day was perfect, not just in a Pinterest-worthy way, but in how it felt. It was calm, intentional, joyful, and so very us. That’s entirely because of your judgment, your grounded and positive energy, and how you brought everything together with such clarity and care. You always knew exactly when to step in, when to hold space, and when to gently nudge us forward. That’s such a rare and special skill you should be proud of .
You supported me through many moments of decision paralysis and never once made me feel annoying or unreasonable. You were clear about what would matter and what wouldn’t, and now that the day has come and gone, I can confidently say you were right about everything.
I also want to say how much I appreciated your realness. You weren’t trying to sell me on anything, which was such a relief in an industry that can make you feel like you have to do all the fancy wedding things. Being able to cut through that noise let me make decisions that truly represented us and felt meaningful, keeping me focused on what really mattered Your confident, calm, and honest presence made all the difference. Your team, Bre and Kelsey, brought the same steady, professional, and kind energy, and together you all made the day seamless.
It’s wild to think that we spent over a year planning, constantly in touch, and now it’s just done. It feels surreal because I really valued getting to know you as a person along the way. We had the pleasure of working with Kaylee and her team at Bask Events for our wedding. We could not be happier with our experience and are so thankful that we hired Kaylee as our month-of coordinator! Our wedding was by no means easy to coordinate, with a large guest count of 240 people, three different venues, several vendors, and a large wedding party and family to keep organized throughout the day. Bask Events handled it with ease!
From the very beginning, Kaylee was responsive, professional, and incredibly organized. When Kaylee officially stepped in the month before our wedding, we felt a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. She communicated with all the vendors to advise them that she was the main point of contact and to coordinate the very detailed day-of schedule. She also quickly pivoted and organized alternative plans when one of our vendors was unresponsive. She has a magical way of making a stressful situation calm by being solution orientated.
On the wedding day, Kaylee and her team brought our vision to life with the set-up and decorations at both Summerhill Pyramid Winery (ceremony) and the Laurel Packing House (reception). The day ran smoothly and according to the schedule! We had several guests compliment her professionalism and attention to detail. She was constantly on the lookout to keep things running smoothly. Kaylee was an absolute dream of a wedding planner! We'd recommend her to any friend or family member, and if we could go back in time we would absolutely choose her again. Kaylee has an amazing ability to be so sweet and kind but also absolutely dialed in, incredibly organized, and not a push over.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Kaylee met with us (virtually - we didn't live near the Okanagan) many times to answer our questions, provide recommendations, and ensure we were staying on track with our to do list. She provided tools and programs to help us stay organized and to ensure everyone was in the loop.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding Kaylee liaised with vendors so we didn't have to worry about those many final logistics. Since we didn't live nearby she offered to pick up last minute items like HDMI cords, extra flowers, or toys for the kids.
On the day of she and her team did a ton of set up and take down. They definitely have a great eye for what looks good and followed the reference images I'd provided for décor set up. Kaylee was incredibly calm, kind, yet absolutely efficient and made decisions on the fly to keep things running smoothly as needed. Multiple wedding attendees commented on how calm, organized, and just generally incredible Kaylee was. As the bride, I felt basically no stress on the wedding day because I knew Kaylee had it under control.
We had the Partial Planning Package and it's worth far more than what Kaylee charges for it. With Kaylee's expertise to find great vendors within our budget, her services basically paid for themselves. If you're on the fence about a day of planner or a little more (aka partial planning) do yourself a favour and get the partial planning (or more).

My husband and I could not be more vocal advocates for Kaylee and Bask Events! In preparation for our wedding Kaylee quickly became our "Wedding Fairy Godmother". She exudes kindness and a genuine love for each couple she works with. Her eye for design and each little detail is exquisite. Her vendor recommendations and contacts are the best of the best, and she'll even help you communicate with vendors to make sure everything is organized and in order. She always responded promptly to any requests I had, or issues that arose. She created a day of timeline that ensured everything ran smoothly, down to every last little detail. She will go above and beyond to make your day perfect.
Day of- Kaylee and her team decorated and set up the venue, ensured everything ran on time, and readily stepped up to handle any unforeseen issues that arose. They went and picked up our midnight snack and drove it back to our venue. They also completed clean up and take down after the event. This allowed my husband and I, and our family/wedding parties to fully enjoy the day without the added stress of any duties or clean up. The next day, Kaylee and her team dropped off our gifts and items from take down right to our home. Having Bask Events be a part of our wedding day was the best decision we could have made. Planning a wedding requires a lot of decision making. Some might say an exhausting amount of decision making. By far the best decision that we made when planning our wedding was hiring Kaylee for full wedding planning. We had an incredible experience working with her. She was knowledgeable, organized, thoughtful, and detail oriented. She transformed our rambling ideas into a beautiful ceremony and reception that truly felt very 'us'.
One of her most impressive talents was chaos management leading up to the big day. She handled innumerable last minute stressors like guest list changes, organizing activities for kids during dinner, handling last minute family members' requests and sourcing backup venues in case of cancellation due to fires (this woman works miracles, no joke). And on top of it all, she does this while being incredibly warm and friendly - multiple family members and guests commented on how helpful and awesome she was. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy every minute of our big day stress free.
